months are displayable and selectable in the Share Selection as AS_Year,

AS_9Month columns.

Actual Performance over 2,3,4 and 5 years are displayable and selectable in the
Share Selection backtesting as the Perf_2Year, Perf_3Year, Perf_4Year and
Perf_5Year columns.
Relative Strength over 4 years and 5 years is now displayed in Share Details.
These columns are displayable and selectable in the Share Selection as the
RS_4Year and RS_5Year columns.

Share Selection searchable columns are now available for 5 year growth records
in addition to the existing 3 year growth records. They are:
EPS_Growth_5Yr, Div_Growth_5Yr, Cashflow_Growth_5Yr, NAV_Growth_5Yr,
NTAV_Growth_5Yr, Turnover_Growth_5Yr
Two new searchable columns have been added showing the Price/Earning ratio and
Price / Cashflow ratio based upon 5 year average EPS and 5 year average
Cashflow PS.
The column names are PER_Avg_EPS_5Yr and PCF_Avg_Cashflow_5Yr

The "Share Name" search box in Share Selection will now pick up EPIC codes as
well as Share Names.

Edit Query now includes check boxes options to show null values. If "Show Null"
is checked then shares with undefined values for a search will be shown.
Example uses are to pick up shares where Gearing is undefined such as banks, or
that do not have an Interest Cover value because they have net interest
received.

Share Selection has been rewritten to fix intermittent problems with selection
of data that users have been having.
Two new buttons have been added to the Share Selection screen.
Home - takes the user back to the main screen
Reset - Sets the screen back to the default starting selection
A home button has also been added to Share Details.

Share's data was Updated.

If unchecked this will show details reported in €, US $, Australian $ or

Two new searchable columns have been added, which are used in the Joel
Greenblatt method, described in the "The Little Book that Beats the Market".
They are:
ROC - Return on Capital
Defined as EBIT (Earnings before Interest and Tax) * 100 / (Net Working Capital
+ Tangible Assets)
Net Working Capital is defined as Inventory + Receivables + Other Current
Assets - Current Liabilities
Earnings Yield
Defined as EBIT / Enterprise Value
Enterprise Value = Marketcap + Prefs + Minorities + Net Debt
A Greenblatt standard filter has also been set up.

changes brought in by the new IFRS accounting standards.
Turnover has been renamed Revenue
Investments under Fixed Assets has been renamed Other Non-Current
Stock has been renamed Inventory
Debtors has been renamed Receivables
Creditors < 1 Year has been renamed Current Liabilities
Creditors > 1 Year has been renamed Non-Current Liabilites
Profit and Loss has been renamed Retained Earnings

Search columns are now available for PER, Yield, EPS_Growth, PEG and Dividend
Cover that are based on Historic, Forecast and 2 Year Forecast EPS and Dividend
Per Share values
Dividend Yield now has Yield_Historic, Yield_Projected, Yield_Rolling,
Yield_Projected2 and Yield_Rolling2 columns.
PEG now has PEG_Historic, PEG_Projected, PEG_Rolling, PEG_Projected2 and
PEG_Rolling2 columns.
EPS Growth now has EPS_Growth_Historic, EPS_Growth_Projected,
EPS_Growth_Rolling, EPS_Growth_Projected2 and EPS_Growth_Rolling2 columns.
Dividend Cover now has Div_Cover_Historic, Div_Cover_Projected,
Div_Cover_Rolling, Div_Cover_Projected2 and Div_Cover_Rolling2 columns.
Share Details now shows the 2 Year Forecast PER, Yield etc. figures for Rolling
and Projected Values by checking the "2 Year" box.
You can now swap between the one year and 2 year forecast changes by clicking
the radio buttons above forecast changes.

You can now chart various indices eg AIM or the All Share index. These are shown
on the chart screen.
Percent 2 Year EPS Forecast changes over one week, one month and three months
are now shown in Share Selection. These values can also be searched and

Forecast2_Change_3Month columns.

Normal Dividend + Special Dividend.
e.g. for 2004 SGI is shown as 2.00+8.0 showing a 2p normal dividend and an 8p

Share Details now shows the FTSE Index a share belongs to eg FTSE100.
SMALLCAP and FLEDGLING have been added as FTSE indices. Shares belonging to no
FTSE index will be shown as NONE.
A message will appear when a user's subscription approaches the expiration date,
and also when the User needs to Login or Register.

Numeric columns can now be compared with other columns. For instance a query to
list shares reaching new highs would include Last_Price >= Price_High_Yr as
part of a filter. Filters called "New Highs" and "New Lows" have been set up to
show shares reaching 52 week highs and lows.
Several extra columns have been added for Selection and query.
They are:
PER_Rolling2 - Will show the rolling 2 year forecast PER . If both the next
forecast and 2 year forecast PE ratios are available then the rolling PER will
be based on both, as a ratio of the time passed since the results year end
date.
eg. If the date is 30 April and year end for a company was 31 December, the
next forecast EPS is 4p, the 2 year forecast EPS is 6p and the price is 100p
then:
Rolling PER 2 = 100 /(((12-4)/12) x 4 + ((4/12) x 6)) = 100 / 4.66 = 21.4p
PER_Projected2 - Will show the PER based on the 2 year forecast EPS if
available.
Price_High_Yr - Will show the highest share price attained in the last 52 weeks.
Price_Low_Yr - Will show the low share price attained in the last 52 weeks.
Year_End_Date - The date of the financial year end.
Final_Ex_Div_Date - The last date that a shareholder is eligible to receive the
Final Dividend.
Interim_Ex_Div_Date - The last date that a shareholder is eligible to receive
the Interim Dividend.

Share Details now has a new option button called "Rolling", between Projected
and Historic. This will show the rolling PER, Yield, PEG and EPS Growth.

Share details now shows the following date information:
Year End Date - The date of the financial year end.
Final Ex Div Date - The last date that a shareholder is eligible to receive the
Final Dividend.
Interim Ex Div Date - The last date that a shareholder is eligible to receive
the Interim Dividend.
The year shown above the historical data now relates to the year end date of the
results rather than the date the results were announced.

Several extra columns have been added for Selection and query.

Query Edit now has an extra drop down option operator called 'IN'. You can use
it to select a range of values, separated by commas. For instance you could put
in 'FTSE_Index IN FTSE100,FTSE250' to show shares in the FTSE 350, or 'Sector
IN MINING,OIL AND GAS' to show resources shares.

If you click on the share name in Share Details you will be linked to a list of
company announcements for the selected share.
Share Details now shows a link to a chart of the selected share.
You can now select whether to look at a share's chart or the detailed financials
when you click on the EPIC link in Share Selection.

The Edit Query screen has a new button "Copy" to allow you to copy a query.
There is an option to delete your original query so allowing you to rename a
query.
When you click the "Edit Query" button in Share Selection, the Edit Query screen
query dropdown value will be transferred from Share Selection.

You can now select AIM stocks in Share Selection by querying FTSE_Index = AIM.
The FTSE_Index drop down now includes AIM as an option.
Several extra columns have been added for Selection and query.
They are:
PEG_All - Will show the PER to Growth ratio or PEG, if positive, regardless of
whether the company has a recent growth record. Note that the PEG column has
been tightened up to show only companies with four consecutive years of EPS
growth (either historic or Projected).
Piotroski_Score - A scoring system used for measuring the health of low Price to
Book companies. It varies from 0 to 9, 9 being healthiest. Property companies
and financials are excluded.

allows selection on FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies. There is also a searchable

The Share Selection screen now has an dropdown option to select on either Sector
or Sub Sector. There is also a displayable Sub Sector column.
The Share Details screen can now show Sector averages based on Sector or Sub
Sector. An option box will switch between Sector and Sub Sector. The Sector or
Sub Sector name will also switch to the appropriate value.
Percent EPS Forecast changes over one week, one month and three months are now
shown in Share Details. These values can also be searched and displayed in
Share Details using the Forecast_Change_Week, Forecast_Change_Month and

Relative Strength over three months and six months is now displayed in Share
Details. These columns are displayable and selectable in the Share Selection as

A new option call Watch List has been added to Query Edit. If the watch list
check box has been set the query will give an "OR" result rather than
the usual "AND" result. This can be used to set up a watch list of shares by
selecting:
EPIC = ShareName
for each share you wish to watch in the Search Columns.

A new backtest function has been added. To use it, just change the Date drop
down list on the right hand side of the "Share Selection" screen and your query
will be shown as it was at that date. There are two new columns you can add in
Edit Query called Perf_Year and Perf_Month which you can see the actual
performance of a share after the backtest date. These columns will only show up
in back testing. Note some delisted shares will not show up in the results.

A new query column called Earnings_Quality has been added. This shows the ratio
of the Basic EPS to the Adjusted EPS. This could be used for filtering out
shares with large exceptional items.
